This is where I'll show some of my work. Right now it's my writings. Enjoy.
This poem is entitled: Love is Dead. I know it sounds stupid but check it out.
Love is Dead
The nicotine is rich tonight
Toxic like lust
I jumped.
Jumped to the other side.
Never saw what I wanted
But I never looked in a convincing way.
Cry into the dust
I hung paralyzed in the air
But my eyes were shut
Blocking out anything that could potentially ruin me
Help me
I jumped to the other side
What side this was
I never saw
But I learned,
Either way it's suicide
but yet we still choose our path
And I opened my eyes
I saw
and I realized,
I'll love you until I'm dead inside.
See wasn't that bad. The next one is Love is Green. I'm not sure why I wrote these two.
Love is Green
The man in green came again
He showed a new emotion and
It penetrated
recreated
What I thought I knew of it
everything
This emotion, so filled with
[light]
Power, that I was blinded.
It made me realize the mirror that I was.
He showed me a world of
[pipe dreams]
Hope, and splendor
For a moment he thought he had won.
But I saw it for what it was.
I saw him as not the man in green
But a serpent
A reptile whose attire
[disabled him]
Hid him from prying eyes.
This man beast
He showed me new thoughts
New feelings
He showed me everything I could know about
[me]
He showed me what I could feel
But I was too
[human]
Stubborn to confide my thoughts
He showed me paradise
And I showed him the door.
I actually really liked that one. Catchy. Some more will be coming, I've just yet to write them up on the computer.
